Our Story
At Language Life Music, our mission is to bridge the gap between locals and immigrants in Costa Rica through language learning. We are located in the beautiful Nosara area, where we are deeply connected with businesses that promote regenerative tourism and support the local community. By offering in-person lessons, we not only teach languages but also foster cultural exchange and community empowerment. Our goal is to combat gentrification and strengthen communities, both in Nosara and beyond.

Language Life Music, provides of unique Spanish & English lessons that build integrity. Experienced educator Scout MacKay is passionate about helping students achieve their language learning goals. She offers both private classes and language exchange experiences that have a direct impact on enriching the lives of locals. Whether you're a beginner seeking to build a strong foundation, or an advanced learner looking to refine your skills, Scout has the resources and expertise to help you achieve success. Aside from teaching, Scout has nearly two decades of experience working to improve the lives of teens and children living in Costa Rica, Mexico, Guatemala, and Colombia, and has interpreted for the Embassy of Peru in Mexico City.
